Another sunny day in Windsor Terrace, and only one left til John Keats' birthday, and Halloween. I couldn't find a darn pumpkin in the local supermarket—every house on the way is showing off with 4 or five of them, but i can't find a little one to make pumpkin soup with. that a web site that you work on (BrownieTheCow.org ) gets to be on the front page of the new york times (well, the web site at least). the ny times today has an article covering the brownie the cow testing scandal. good luck to joe, eve & sam and all the parents and teachers that have to deal with the dumb standardized tests.

so we got our show in brooklyn on october 26th! it's gonna be fun! i just bought another electric guitar so it will be pipas goes all electric. no more of that acoustic rubbish. :-) we will be accompanied by the ballet & oppenheimer. i just saw the ballet a few weeks ago opening for flin flon and they were really great. not sure what, if any, other new york shows we'll be playing so you'd better get… Read More

i went to neenah, wisconsin this weekend with sarah and had a wonderful time. just hanging out, riding bikes, eating food & talking with her mum and dad (who are lovely and i think would really get on with my mum and dad - read into that what you want!) and brother. a fun time!

wow. i know this is late to write about this but really the republicans are in a league of their own. in addition to taking the u.s. into two concurrent disasterous losing wars (with the lap dog support of 99% of the democrats), suspending our basic rights, approving of (and probably getting off on) torture and endless endless other insanities. now they cover up a kiddy fiddler? i really just want to write: republicans & kiddy fiddlers in the same… Read More
