In a few days we'll join a bunch of friends to sing a few songs and celebrate San, dear friend and fantastic drummer of the ladybug transistor. Tuesday 5 June at 8pm at Soundfix , 110 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, +1 718 388 8090. All proceeds from the night will go to San's wife Brigit and their son Liam. hope to see you all there!

wow! what a show last night. it was a good one. meeting lots of new people and old friends and having land of ill earthquakes come to the show was the best. good to finally see beach house and chat with russell (who we met in london a few years ago) along on the tour with them. the clientele were awesome. we so appreciate being able to meet up and hang out. we're now taking the short airplane cut back to new york while they have to take the long road. may it treat them well.
we have the popfest nyc on sunday at the luna lounge in brooklyn which will be great! please come out! xo!

it was an (land of ill)earthquake(s) of a show in walnut, ca! thanks so much to derrick for opening the doors and moving the furniture in his house so we could play one last show together! whoever the hell was playing drums on hiding the park: nice job! :-)

we're here at long last. we dreamed of hanging out with our dear friends leon and nikki and baby ira. home of the frenchmen, sacramento! and we made it. pre-show hanging out and brunch in a funny sorta english-themed place with them and land of ill. good times.
excited for the show tonight and a little morning time in the sac... xo

the secret show last night at megamoog and mary's apartment up in sunset was really fun! thanks so much to them. megamoog had just played in new york a week or so ago and we'd missed it so it was wonderful to see her play *in her own apartment*! and you know, a house show is so refreshing after all our stadium gigs these days. you can actually see your audience. feel in touch. no stage. no boundaries. it's easier to heckle derrick from land of ill earthquakes. they did a bunch of different songs from the night before so that was exciting.

holy cow. we're here in san francisco! we were just on KALX an hour or so ago... and completely forgot to warn you all. duh. thanks dan and sam and everyone there. hope it sounded ok. it was a lot of fun. we broke our first ever string ever in the history of pipas.
our show at rickshaw stop is tomorrow night. can't wait to meet up with land of ill earthquakes... ok. we gotta get out of this muddy waters coffee shop... bye!

thanks to the sharp guillotines at the astor place kinkos we now have the covers for our new tour ep. a limited edition of 100 copies will be available at all our upcoming shows. thanks also to the nice porno dvd guy who let us use the guillotines. according to pidg, the dood assured us kinkos is the best price for color copying. so it's 2 for 5 from him. how does he make them that cheap? see you in sf!!! xolupe
