wow! it's so embarrasing to admit but i'd (mark) never been to the bowery ballroom before. call me reclusive if you want. but we played there last night with the clientele and beach house and in addition to being a great show by the aforementioned bands, the bowery ballroom sound people and staff were quite lovely. funny and nice and took care with the sound. and it sounded so good. probably the best sounding clientele show i've ever seen. yow. anyway, we're recovering from the night. one of us has gone to boston. the other not. thanks for listening to us last night! thanks again to the clientele for letting us crash their party.
there's one last show on our new york (and u.s.) schedule on monday the 11th of june at union hall in park slope: a ladybug transistor record release show for their new album, can't wait another day. alasdair from the clientele will be playing acoustic-style with heather from instruments/elf power/and more playing on some songs too. fun.
i may go lay down now…

I was there. You guys were really great. first time I’ve heard of you and the bowery ballroom was the most appropriate way to be introduced to your music!

That’s what I heard! Conan’s got good taste. Anyone have a DVR or VCR? Record it for posterity?
