When I miss London, I think about the forests, the woods that seem to change between each visit. Wild dogs, empty pools by the cemetery. And the trees. Once upon a time I joined a group that went around looking for the oldest tree tops, trying to discover the differences. I would go home and try to draw them but all that came out were these muddy rorschachey ink splotches.
