at long last, four years after our first trip to kalmar for mitt basta liv, we returned and actually got to see the town for real and spend quality time with patric and famille and lina. as a bonus! it was the first day of swedish christmas candy (vegan too). like little fluffy clouds of chewy sweet goodness. we played later that evening with the sugar plum fairies who are a teen pop rock sensation, perhaps, in sweden. a strange but fun show! there were towels backstage with a little pipas sign next to them. and another missed opportunity for onstage smoke. the sugar plummers busted out the smoke. i wish we'd known. regrets! regrets! regrets! we danced around after… Read More
