In a few days we'll join a bunch of friends to sing a few songs and celebrate San, dear friend and fantastic drummer of the ladybug transistor. Tuesday 5 June at 8pm at Soundfix , 110 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, +1 718 388 8090. All proceeds from the night will go to San's wife Brigit and their son Liam. hope to see you all there!

thanks to the sharp guillotines at the astor place kinkos we now have the covers for our new tour ep. a limited edition of 100 copies will be available at all our upcoming shows. thanks also to the nice porno dvd guy who let us use the guillotines. according to pidg, the dood assured us kinkos is the best price for color copying. so it's 2 for 5 from him. how does he make them that cheap? see you in sf!!! xolupe

Like our new tour van? Yesterday was one of those incredible days of autumn in new york - warm, bright, and full of running around doing.. pretty much nothing, other than posing against various strange urban backdrops - empty baseball fields, pools with keith haring murals, haunted brownstones, and deserted diners by the hudson river -- for our friend legendary photographer Glen E Friedman, who definitely made us work it! we should have stretched before, done some mini pilates. i can't believe he's so good he even called me (lupe) on the 1 fake smile i did all day. we were starving. my stomach in pain from all the laughter. he's a funny guy! the NEW YORK show

so we got our show in brooklyn on october 26th! it's gonna be fun! i just bought another electric guitar so it will be pipas goes all electric. no more of that acoustic rubbish. :-) we will be accompanied by the ballet & oppenheimer. i just saw the ballet a few weeks ago opening for flin flon and they were really great. not sure what, if any, other new york shows we'll be playing so you'd better get to this one!
