hey peeps! hot off the press: this sunday Alasdair from the clientele and i will be spinning some tunes at london’s legendary hangover lounge. more on the mellow side of things. i’m thinking perhaps a little bit of disco, maybe some divine chanteuses. any requests/suggestions? ok, i already have ‘boston’ down for sarah. anything to keep that hungover crowd happy. please come by if you’re in town, it’s free! sometime after 1pm. xolupe

wow! it's so embarrasing to admit but i'd (mark) never been to the bowery ballroom before. call me reclusive if you want. but we played there last night with the clientele and beach house and in addition to being a great show by the aforementioned bands, the bowery ballroom sound people and staff were quite lovely. funny and nice and took care with the sound. and it sounded so good. probably the best sounding clientele show i've ever seen. yow.… Read More

wow! what a show last night. it was a good one. meeting lots of new people and old friends and having land of ill earthquakes come to the show was the best. good to finally see beach house and chat with russell (who we met in london a few years ago) along on the tour with them. the clientele were awesome. we so appreciate being able to meet up and hang out. we're now taking the short airplane cut back… Read More

the tremendously sad fact is that our last show of the tour with the ever increasingly amazing land of ill earthquakes is over with one last show tonight… may 22nd… please come to this house party to celebrate their awesomeness. we love them. here are the details:
